"Never Use Gutter Stuff"
We installed this material about a year ago. It is packed with needles and moss growth rendering the gutters useless. I'll be spending another small fortune have this stuff removed. Would not recommend this product

"Gutter Stuff failed."
We installed Gutter Stuff in the gutters of our museum about a year ago and today our gutters overflow and we're growing oak seedlings and grass. We wasted several hundred dollars and now we're throwing it in the garbage.

"Gutter Stuff original"
I purchased this stuff in April 2018. Installed it and 3 months later my gutters were plugged with pine needles. I contacted Gutter Stuff and was told that it still requires some maintenance. When I asked what type of maintenance they said to get on roof and clean the needles off of the gutter stuff. Why install it if you have to clean it every 3 months. I purchased this at Home Depot and contacted them. I suggested that they pull product from there shelves.

"Winter warning"
The Gutterstuff guards worked well but we got hit with an early snow storm and the fabric froze. Water from melting snow on the roof is going right over the top and icicles are forming on the gutters. Next year I think I will remove them after the leaves are gone.

"Blocked stuffer"
This product seemed fine at first however after 2 years of use are so packed with crap that all my gutters are blocked and overflowing even in medium strength rain. I have small trees growing out of my gutters.. Went to remove them and they are completely filled with roots! Since the box says lifetime warranty was going to return them but then found out on the website that you have to register the product with 90 days of purchase in order to take advantage of lifetime warranty. What a scam. I do not advise anyone to purchase this item.

"Gutter stuff vs leaves good; gutter stuff vs pine needles only ok"
We had Gutter Stuff placed in our 2nd floor gutters for 5.5 years. We have several maple, an oak, and several pine trees which dropped leaves, needles, and seeds at different times of the year. The stuff worked well and prevented a significant gutter sludge which would build up in the 1st floor gutters. However, the Stuff sat about 1/4" below the rim of the gutter, so there would still be a small amount of leaves and debris remaining which needed to be cleaned out once a year. The Stuff was porous allowing water to seep through, but was oil based to prevent dissolving. However, seeds could still germinate in the oil foam, so those had to be yanked out as well. And pine needles, which were sticky, could still stick and make piles, but that may be because of the sap. No repairs needed, however I still had to do one cleaning a year. I would still get it again, as it saved a lot of time as compared to the completely empty gutters, which required multiple cleanings. If there were no pine trees and their sticky sap causing some piles, it would have worked even better, I think. I wish it would have gone to the rim of the gutter- that 1/4" I think contributed to the small piles sometimes.

"Gutter Stuff Foam Gutter Protection System – Mediocre Product"
We installed Gutter Stuff two years ago. The product was kind of pricey, but the concept seemed good. It's a foam material that you can install in your own gutters with no special tools. It's supposed to last nearly forever, and the basic idea is that the foam fills the gutter and prevents leaves and debris from getting in. The foam is very porous and so water soaks in and travels through the gutter unobstructed. Leaves might get hung up for a while, but they are supposed to eventually blow off. The problem is, while they ARE stuck up there, they form a kind of mat and block the water from going into the foam. We live in Arkansas, where the fall and winter are generally our wet seasons. So there are a lot of leaves falling, and a lot of rain. That was a bad combination for the Gutter Stuff. They worked great in the summer months - but there's really nothing falling into the gutters in those months anyway. Also, most of the trees on our property are oaks. They put out a lot of pollen in the spring, and the pollen is small enough that it goes into the pores of the foam. Hasn't happened yet, but I'm guessing that it is eventually going to clog the foam to the point where water won't pass through. I would not recommend this product if you live on a site where you really have a need for gutter protection.

"These are a time saver"
We installed our gutter guards last fall and are more than thrilled with how they work. We live in an area with a large amount of large trees. My husband would need to go up on the roof every few weeks to clean out the gutters, especially if we knew we had heavy rain coming. With the gutter guards, my husband has gone up on the roof a few times just to check on things but has not had to do any real cleaning of the gutters since we installed them. I never like my husband going on the roof anyways, so I am also so happy we purchased these. My inlaws were so impressed with how these worked that they too decided to purchase gutter guards. I am not sure if they purchased the same breand, but they have had no issues with the ones they purchased either. Overall, I would recommend gutter guards to anyone who gets lots of build up in their gutters.
