In addition, the manufacturer reports that it is lightweight, low-maintenance, easy to install for do-it-yourself homeowners and is relatively inexpensive when compared to other roofing products.
OFIC North America, formerly known as Tallant Industries, owns the Ondura brand as well as Tuftex polycarbonate and vinyl building panels, and Ridgeline ridge vent ventilation system. OFIC itself has been a subsidiary of Paris-based Onduline s.a. since 2010. OFIC employs 150 people including its production, sales and administrative staff. OFIC sells its products internationally in 30 countries around the world.
Ondura corrugated asphalt sheets measure 48 by 79 inches while tiles measure 48 by 19 3/4 inches. The products come in eight colors or can be painted using exterior acrylic latex paint to get the perfect match to a home's existing shades. Do-it-yourself homeowners can purchase the sheets at home improvement centers.
Ondura corrugated sheets and tiles are manufactured using 50 percent recycled cellulose materials -- 95 percent of which is post-consumer -- making it a sustainable building product.
