"Metal Shingles"
I had my Central Florida roof replaced about 15 years ago and used the Decra Metal Shingles because I wanted something that would last a long time and yet matched the asphalt shingles of the homes around me since I had to get approval from my HOA. The HOA surprisedly agreed to allow me to use these metal shingles and they look great, and I have not had any problems with the roof. The only downside of these metal shingles is that I would like to get solar panels, but I am not willing to put holes in the roof that still has over 35 years of life left in it to mount solar panels that last 10 years if things go well. I do not expect to ever have to replace this roof and would definitely use this brand again if I had another house that needed the roof replaced.

"Great material"
Used them at my home and a relative's home. Used a lot of metal roof material over the years, and this seems to be one of the best systems and best looking so far. I would recommend them to anyone, but you need to make sure they are installed correctly. Do some research on your contractor or if you're the contractor, make sure your team pays attention as it is a fast easy product to install correctly. 100% worth the money!!!

"Great product"
I have just installed a Decra Villa tile roof in Royal Oak color and am delighted with the product and the finished look. The materials are superbly finished and the installation with the unique interlocking system is great. Each tile sheet locks into the next one in all directions and is really solidly attached to the structure. I had not seen this product until recently and I would highly recommend that anyone needing roofing consider DECRA as the ultimate in roofing. Worth the additional expense.

"Terrible shingle, terrible customer service."
Severe granule loss. Shingles have a gap where they overlap creating a moisture issue. Extreme issue with fungus growth and discoloration. Shingle seven years old on a 50 year worthless warranty. Don’t walk, run away from this product. It will cost you $$$$$ because you will need to replace it on your own after just a few short years and the tear off will cost as much as the install.

"Terrible shingle/terrible warrantee"
7 year old roof. Severe discoloration. Shingles do not lay flat at joints. Company claims did not even give a courtesy inspection to confirm problems, but sent a standard denial letter. Claimed to be a 75 year roof, but it is all a scam. And, they quit manufacturing this shingle. I was told by a roofer it was because it was defective and left gaps between shingles. Just what I have. In reading the warrantee o line, it said severe discoloration would be repaired or replaced at companies expenses. Not what they said in the denial letter.

"Owner"
Decra shingles installed in 2015. Been having a problem with moss growing on north side. Don't like the idea of going on roof to clean off every other year. As i understand from a reliable source is there is not enough copper in the stone look, so it is not very algae resistance. Buyer beware, as i am now almost 70 years old and dont like going on roofs or hiring it out.

"Roof"
Had a Decra roof installed in 1984. Within 12 months the surface washed off. The roof rusted holes appeared. Decra refused to honor the guarantee saying when mine was installed the guarantee was a shorter one. It resulted in a lot of dampness throughout the house. I have replaced it with another brand. I could never recommend Decra to anyone.

"Decra roof is leaking."
I bought a home with Decra roof. The company claims you can transfer ownership warranty within twenty years of ownership but must provide written request within 30 days of ownership. I was declined. I am now have problems with my Decra roof after a hail storm. My roof is leaking in many areas. The roof is not very tolerant. I filed a claim with my insurance Company and they increased my rate by $500. I would not recommend Decra. The claims they make about their roof performance is a case of to good to be true.

"Absolutely terrible product"
Do not use any Decra metal tile product. They do not stand by their warranty. We have a simple leak in a 6 year old roof. The company that installed is no longer in business and Decra without even looking stated that most likely the company did not install it properly so your warranty is void from a single picture I sent. No roofer in a 50 mile radius will even come out to look at our roof to repair. They simply state they will not work with this product and are only willing to replace the roof entirely.

"Decra Protects in CA 47 Years; FL 15 Years"
We give Decra Tile roofing the highest rating possible. Our California home passed rigid home sale inspection after 45 years (still looked like new). We replaced our Florida two year old concrete tile roof almost 15 years ago after a hurricane. Neither roof has ever leaked. Neighbors who installed a Decra roof had an issue with vent flashing that was corrected. We have so much praise we can give for this exceptionally outstanding product.
