"My 35 year Architectural Shingles"
I bought my shingles from Home Depot about eight years ago. So far I have been very impressed with the quality, not only have they stood up to several severe wind and hail storms, but they haven't lost any significant granular material. The shingles I replaced were terrible, even small hail punched gouges in the face right down to the fiberglass matting. I had them for about twelve years and by the time I replaced them they had almost no granular material on them at all. They were twenty year 3-tab shingles which are not worth the money you pay for them. The extra money I spent on thirty five year shingles has been well worth it. I would buy Owens Corning Architectural shingles again, and I suggest you do too.

"No leaks about it!"
I had to replace my shingles sometime in the middle of this year, due to my old ones becoming damaged and coming off. They were fairly good quality, and the process of replacing the shingles was with very little error or other problems. Since installing them, I've had no problems, and not one has come off. I had very little trouble in the process of purchasing them, as well. The people who helped my find and install them were great to work with, and I would definitely work with them again, especially to support an independent group of people like that. The texture is excellent, and the colouring fits the standard that you would expect to see in shingles. They are roughly as good as the average roofing shingle; I would definitely recommend that people try these, if only because they're the only shingles I've had experience with installing. I think that they will be pleasantly surprised with the quality and ease of use.

"Owens Corning Shingle Review"
I have owned Owens Corning Shingles for about 15 years now. I had bought the shingles for a preovious house I owned as well as the new one I just built 3 years ago. I like the architectural type of shingles Owens Corning offers. They are a little heavier weight of shingle and you don't have to worry about getting straight waterlines since there are none so installation goes much quicker. So far I have not had to repair any and they are rated to last 30 years. They also come in a variety of colors which is helpful for matching your houses side. The bundles of shingles are heavy though. Each bundle is close to 100 pounds so carrying them up a ladder can get tiring fast if you don't have a way to get them to the roof. Overall though I would recommend the shingles and the Owens Corning brand.

"Best Roofing Shingles Ever!!!"
I have had Owens Corning Oakridge shingles on my house now for 8 years. There were very easy to install. It took me and my father only one weekend to get the old one off and put these on. They saved me a lot of money too. The best thing about them is the durability. I have never had to repair or replace any of them. They have a 30 year warranty, so there are no worries about having to replace them any time soon. They also have a great choice when it comes to finish. The color I choose look great on my house and after 8 years they still look great. These shingles are a great way to revitalize your home and a wonderful bargain. I would surely buy these shingles again, but I don't think I will need to for quite some time. I will recommend them to all of my friends and to any one that asks for my advice.

"Leak Proof and Happy"
When your roof begins to let more water in than it keeps out, you know it's time to replace it. That is exactly what happened to us about two years ago and we were not prepared to face all the possible choices in shingles. After some research online and talking to local contractors, we selected the Owens Corning brand. It was the best choice we could have made. They went up quickly with no apparent problems experienced by our contractor. I will admit we were a bit put off by the color we choose initially but came to love it over time. It rained the very next day and we were water tight once again. But what we had not anticipated was the beautiful change the new roof brought to our home. The Owen Corning shingles dressed up our outside image as well as provided protection from water. We would definitely choose Owens Corning shingles if we had to replace our roof in the future. But with a 20 year warranty supplied by Owens Corning, the future is definitely a long way out.

"Another Good Product From Owen Corning"
Last year I bought some new roofing shingles for my home and I would like to review them. First off they are made by Owens Corning. They are a pretty good company to buy stuff from to begin with. I decided to go with the Duration Premium AR Designer Series stuff. I know it's a long name but I figured that it just meant it was awesome. I live in a pretty windy area around Kansas City. So we have high winds and pretty bad storms through the year. I needed something that would hold up to that. These shingles are rated up to 130 mph, so wind is no issue now. They also come with a lifetime warranty which is pretty cool. There is a weird 10 year special warranty on them for algae, thou I have never had the problem. Installing them was very simple, I think anyone with a strong back and a marker line can do it. Overall these have been taking a beating and keep on going. No random leaks in the roof or mold issues, so I really like them. I would tell people to get them if they new shingles.
