"No Warranty warning"
I had my GE solar power panels installed on all 50 homes in my community in the Spring of 2005, and after about 8 years it started producing less and less power so by now it was only making around 20%. My neighbors and I were not able to reach GE warranty and if you look anywhere on its website there is not to find any reliable information about GE solar panel warranty. I am sure that this solar euphoria will end up as the scam of the century.

"Why I Love My Solar Panels"
Ge Solar 200W Gepv-200 Solar Module is one of the best purchases i have ever made. I have only had them for about a year now but i really see the difference in my bills and pockets. The Solar Module is fast to install as it comes with pre-drilled holes and a Pre-wired junction box with MC Connectors. The only problem I have with this brand is that they seem to require or cleaning then i have heard the others do but this does not affect my love for this brand and i will definitely buy from them again.

"Decent power for the price."
I purchased a GE solar panel system about a year ago. I got it for nearly nothing after the tax rebates went through. My initial costs were about $7,500. I am still connected to the grid, but when there is peak sunlight, and I'm not at home, my solar panel system out puts back into the grid. I was a bit weary of how many wires and parts were actually needed, but the construction people explained everything. I had to have a person from the electric company come out and check everything. Have not had to repair this system, just about all the components are indoors. About the only thing I don't like about the system is the batteries. They need to be replaced about once a year, and they are not cheap. If you have the money, I would say to go ahead and purchase a solar panel system, but then again everyday they are getting cheaper and cheaper. GE is a great brand to use, high quality products.

"My experience with GE solar panels"
I have owned my GE solar panels for a little over 6 months, and I absolutely love it. I have cut my electricity bill in half making them a great investment. There is honestly nothing that I dislike about my solar panels so far. I have not yet had to repair or replace my solar panels, although I have only had them for 6 months. However, they did come with a great warranty that would keep me from caring about minor repairs in the future. I would definitely go with the GE Energy solar panels again. There customer service has never let me down, and their prices/warranty is very competitive. My solar panels have proven to be a great way to save on electricity as well as protect myself in case of power outages. I would recommend them to anyone!

"Staying Cool Keeping Warm"
I own the GE Solar 200w GEPV-200 Solar Module panels. I have owned them for about 7 months. The whole idea of solar panels I was not completely sold on but my wife talked me into buying some for the house. Thus far I do not have any complaints. The house we live in is a 3 story house that we rent out other sections of the house to people. I am really starting to notice the benefits as the cold season approaches here in Philadelphia. We have yet to turn the heat on yet. There is nothing about them that I dislike other than the fact that building over the people love to get on the roof and drink beer around them. No repairs as of yet which I am very pleased with. I absolutely would recommend this brand to a friend.
