DaVinci Roofscapes Shingles

DaVinci Roofscapes manufactures engineered polymer synthetic shingles made to look like traditional slate and cedar shake shingles. These shingles are blended with fire retardants and UV stabilizers.

The surface of the shingle resembles the textured appearance of slate or cedar shingles. Each order of shingles (both the synthetic shake and slate) come packaged in a mix of sizes and color tones to closely mimic the random quality of natural materials.

DaVinci Slate shingles are 1/2" thick and available in 19 colors; the Shake shingles are 5/8" thick and available in 17 colors. The shingles carry a Class A fire rating, a Class 4 impact resistance rating, and are rated to withstand winds up to 110 mph.

DaVinci Slate shingles received HGTV’s Most Valuable Product award in 2004. The Shake shingles received the award in 2005. They were also given the 2004 MVP award by Building Products and Hanley-Wood Publishers.

History of DaVinci Roofscapes

Kansas-based DaVinci Roofscapes was founded by John Humphreys in 1999. Humphreys' family owned an asphalt shingle business. He used his experience in the shingle manufacturing business to create a high-end synthetic shingle that could be used as a replacement for traditional roofing materials.

Warranty

Both DaVinci Slate and Shake shingles carry a 50-year limited warranty. The warranty covers manufacturers' defects and warrants against color fading. No additional warranty information is available at this time, but as with all shingle warranties, we recommend you inspect the warranty carefully to make sure that you understand its terms.
